A story from Patrick Kelleher…
My mom and dad came to this great country back in the 1950’s from Ireland. They settled in Boston and raised seven boys.
My dad was a hardworking, honest man. But he could be a little bit stubborn.
He said: “I am never going into a nursing home. I do not need to protect our family’s home because I’m not going into a nursing home.”
Unfortunately, where do you think my dear dad ended up?
While in the nursing home, he eventually realized was that he could no longer return home. He sat across from me in his wheelchair, tears streaming down his face, and he said, “Patrick, how are we going to protect our family home?” He was filled with regret, knowing it was too late.
That experience had a profound impact on my life. It fueled my mission as an attorney and counselor at law to educate and advocate for people like you.
I want to give you an opportunity my dad didn’t have. The opportunity to put a plan in place while you’re alive and well, so you can protect what you have for the people you love the most.
